It’s that time of the year again – lights, fireworks and a lot of fun! This Saturday, Jaya will help the kids paint some pretty diyas to gift your family and friends or decorate your home. Registration is limited to 15 children and will be on a first-come-first-served basis.

A Trip to the Goshala

Anupama aunty is back this month with a trip to the Gaushala! Bangalore Gaurakshan Shala is a 30-year old trust situated in the outskirts of Bangalore city. Its main purpose being to care for the sacred cow. They have a habitat of over 900 animals including calves, buffaloes, goats, rabbits, ducks and sheep.

    The Schedule:

A storytelling of Kamadhenu, the sacred Hindu cow at Hippocampus – 10 am to 10.30 am
Depart at 10.30 am from Hippocampus and arrive at the Gaushala by 11 am
Tour of the grounds and facilities from 11am to 12 noon
Arrive at Hippocampus by 12.30 pm

Note to parents:

Children to carry their own water bottles and snacks.
Children to wear full pants/ trousers, sneakers/closed shoes and caps.
We are taking only 13 registrations, so do mail us before Wednesday (15th) evening. The cost for the trip is Rs 350, inclusive of transport, entrance to the Gaushala and mentor fee.

It’s Halloween Time (Ages 7 – 10)

Halloween is a “magical” night for everyone, and donning a mask can instantly transform your into just about anyone or anything. Masks have been used for celebrating Halloween for literally thousands of years. Join Aishwarya Aunty in making a mask for your Halloween Party

Registration is limited to 20 children and will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
