Exploring the child’s internal world of Family & Friends, Feelings & Fancies through Story, Crafts & Conversation. The child walks himself/herself through the world of family & friends while identifying his own emotions through the experiences. Each craft is permanently secured in a unique scrapbook created by the children thus providing special memories.
Mentor: Alpa Bansal has been conducting activities at Hippocampus with great enthusiasm for many years. She always brings an extra something to a simple art and craft session. Besides this, she has done workshops in USA and in India, and has specialized in ceramics. She views art as more than a medium of expression and communicates this in the activities she conducts.

Camp Rock
Camp Rock will be a new camp experience for your little one. Through a combination of physical activity, artistic media (music and movement, storytelling and drama, visual art such as clay, paint etc), story time and dance. Children will get an opportunity to express themselves, share and celebrate their knowledge and interpretation of the world.
Each day has a different, creative lesson plan. One day they will visit exotic holiday destination, while the next day they go on a jungle safari. Sounds like fun? Of course it is! Rhythm n Rhyme is hosting it after all.
Mentor: Vivienne participated in several music and movement programs in the U.S where she lived for 5 years. The programs were amazing and helped promote co-ordination, balance, self-esteem and an excellent ear for music and rhythm. Having moved to India, she saw an opportunity for such parent / child programs and introduced Rhythm N Rhyme to Bangalore.

Rock ‘n’ Read
Come cut loose with Dr. Seuss for a week full of rhymes and fun!
Explore five Dr. Seuss classics in this camp.
‘Green Eggs and Ham’ will inspire them to make and eat their own green eggs and end the day with Eggshell Art!
‘Bartholomew and the Oobleck’ will help them in reading thermometers, making a weather graph and brainstorm weather words.
‘One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish’ will help them learn the concept of classification and also make an artistic fish bowl!
‘The Cat in the Hat’ will foster a discussion about rain and the water cycle. They will explore the concept of truth telling and many other fun activities related to the story.
‘Fox in Socks’ is the perfect story to explore patterns, pairs and counting by twos.

Marshmallow! – A New Learning Experience
They believe in the concept of “learning with fun” and involving a child in essential everyday life practices. This session symbolizes helping children be at their productive best, overcoming shyness and enabling better self expression.
