COURSE 1: Quick Start Summer Courses (You fit in if you are starting your basics) (A SPECIAL DISCOUNT OF 50% IS ON THIS SUMMER)
• You can register (Rs.300/-) for any of the courses given below:
Western: Vocals, Piano, Keyboard, Guitar, Drums
Indian: Raga-based Film Music (Vocal)
• Course Details
Duration: May 1 to May 25, 2012 (a total of 4 weeks – Monday to Friday)
Timings: 2pm, 3pm, 4pm and 5pm (each session is for one hour)
• Your course will end with a stage performance which will have an audience of 500. You will have your own band and a song to perform.
• You will be given a Certificate of Participation. There will be prizes for the Best Band etc.
• The performance will be recorded on video and you will be given a copy of the DVD.
• First 3 weeks will be classroom sessions and you can choose your timing from the above available for the first three weeks. The final week will be practice sessions with the band for the stage performance. The timing will depend on when your entire band is available. Your band will choose a band-leader to co-ordinate practices for your band according to the convenience of all the band members.
• Fees:
On registration: Registration fee of Rs.300 and Course fee of Rs.2500/- (exclusive discount of 50% for the summer course the actual fee being Rs.5000/-. This facility is not available at any other time of the year.)
In the Second week: Performance fee of Rs.1000/- (Your tutor will decide if your will be able to perform on stage. You need to pay only if you are performing.)
PLEASE NOTE THAT FEES ONCE PAID CANNOT BE REFUNDED.
• Age group: 7 upwards
COURSE 2: Play in a Band (You fit in if you are through your basics)
• Your band will need a singer, a lead guitarist, a bass guitarist, a keyboardist and a drummer (If you cannot find the right persons for your band we will help you out.)
• Minimum requirement is 5 in a band and the maximum is 8.
• Theme for the song: Summer
• Genere of Music: Pop, Rock, Country
• Bring a choice of 5 songs
• You will have 10 sessions of practice of an hour each under the supervision of a tutor.
• You will perform on Stage before an audience of 500.
• Your sessions along with the stage will cost you Rs.3000/- per member
• You will receive a certificate and a DVD of the entire performance
• There will be prizes for ‘Best Band’, ‘Best Performer’ and many more.
