‘Tails of Joy – An Animal Assisted Reading Program’

 

This is a  unique program where in kids will be reading out to AAF’s trained therapy dog. Animals are ideal reading companions because unlike peers, animals are attentive listeners, so children are more comfortable and inclined to forget about their own fears. Reading out to a dog is known to be very beneficial to the child as the dog does not laugh or criticize when the child makes mistakes, hence providing a safe and fun environment for the child to enhance his reading skills.
 
Bring your children to this event and enjoy the ‘Paw’sitive experience.

About Animal Angels Foundation: Animal Angels Foundation is India’s first and only registered NGO dedicated to promote awareness about the amazing benefits of the human-animal relationship and the miraculous healing effects of animals on humans. They are a team of therapists from various mental/medical health professions and volunteers from various other fields. They train family pets to be ‘Therapy Animals’ who work with them as their co-therapists or volunteer with their owners on visiting various people in need.They all share a common belief of ‘Animals for Human Wellness’.
