Join us on a journey into the wild as we travel from the snowy Himalayas up north down to the Indian Ocean; from the swampy Sundarbans on the east to the deserts on the west. Children’s writer, Praba Ram will be reading from her new children’s book The Endangered Animals of India, published by Mango Books of Cochin. The event will aim to create awareness and promote understanding of the different endangered animals that live in varied habitats across India. It will encourage children begin thinking and empathizing with the many diverse wild animals of India – from Snow Leopards to Red Pandas, Fishing Cats to Gharials. With word finds, animal quizzes and a crossword galore, let’s celebrate the diverse natural habitats we share with animals and what we can do to help with conservation.
