This is Annie’s second book with Tulika. Her first book Mala’s silver Anklets is a roaring success and is very popular with children.
Annie Besant became an author at the age of six — she dictated and her mother wrote! With a Masters in Professional Writing from the University of Southern California, USA, she now lives in Chennai and continues to write. Mala’s Silver Anklets is her first book with Tulika. She has also written with Pratham Books and other publishers too.
